How to properly disassemble and assemble an elephant reciprocating pump？

Steps to remove the piston：

• Remove the cover nut at the front end of the cylinder head, remove the hexagonal nut at the front end of the cylinder head, remove the cylinder head pressure plate;
• Remove the cylinder head, use a socket wrench to remove the hexagonal nut at the front end of the piston;
• Remove the spring washer, remove the large washer, use a socket wrench to remove the hexagonal nut at the front end of the piston;
• Use the piston disassembly tool to remove the piston, remove the compression pad, remove the piston, keep the piston seat, and complete the disassembly.

Steps to install the piston:

• Screw the piston seat onto the piston disassembly tool;
• Apply clean butter to the bottom of the piston seat, install the piston seat, push and turn it one circle until the piston seat is stuck in the pull rod groove;
• Push and unscrew the piston disassembly tool, apply clean butter to the bottom of the piston outer ring and the inner hole surface;
• Install the piston, install the sleeve, knock it into place, install the compression pad with the arc surface facing inward, install the hexagonal nut, install the sleeve;
• Screw in the hexagonal nut, rotate the booster rod 1/4 to half a circle, pay attention to the tightness, do not screw it tightly;
• Install the large washer, spring washer, install the hexagonal nut, tighten it manually, install the sleeve, rotate the booster rod, tighten the nut;
• Apply clean butter to the surface of the pump head hole, clean the surface of the cylinder head and apply clean butter, with the shock absorber facing down;
• Install the cylinder head parallel, knock the cylinder head, install the cylinder head pressure plate, pre-tighten the hexagonal nut;
• Apply force evenly up and down to tighten the nut, install the cap nut, and complete the installation.
